Company Overview
Our Firm was founded in 2005 by two founding members. Today, the Firm boasts a full array of attorneys, nurse consultants, and professional staff providing full-service outside litigation services to some of the biggest and best hospitals, practice groups, medical product manufacturers, and other healthcare providers throughout Georgia and the Southeast. The reason our clients come to us – and stay with us – is simple. We believe in the services our clients provide; we are tireless in defending their interests; and we practice law with integrity. Our success is built on the results we have achieved by staying true to these principles.
Our Firm also has significant experience in successfully representing major corporate clients in the areas of general commercial litigation and premises liability, as well as a burgeoning appellate practice. In short, when it comes to general and professional liability litigation and trial advocacy in the State of Georgia, we have the experience that nets results. The same ideals hold true no matter the issue – fight for the client with sincerity and veracity.
Company History
Mr. Weathington started his legal career in Atlanta, Georgia first at Troutman Sanders and then at Schreeder Wheeler and Flint. In 1987, he returned to his hometown of Carrollton, Georgia and practiced at the firm of Tisinger Vance until 1992. In 1992, Mr. Weathington returned to Atlanta and joined Hunter Allen in a firm that eventually became known as Allen & Weathington. Mr. Weathington began his practice in medical malpractice defense at the Tisinger Vance firm but was able to concentrate more exclusively in medical malpractice upon his return to Atlanta as the firm represented The Emory Clinic and most other medical malpractice insurance companies. In 2005, Mr. Weathington and his wife Molly formed The Weathington Firm, which later became known as Weathington Smith, Weathington McGrew, and now Weathington.
